Evolution is not science.
Can the theories of evolution or creation be proven scientifically?
No.
The scientific method requires one to be able to reproduce the
result by experiment.
Creation is not currently taking place and evolution cannot be
produced by experiment. If evolution is taking place, it is too
slow to be measurable.
If neither evolution nor creation can be proven scientifically,
then how do we know which one to believe?
Look at the evidence we do have with a scientific approach and see
if it points to a design.
If there is design in the universe, THERE
MUST BE A DESIGNER!
If there was creation, THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A CREATOR!
Consider our solar system, the basic laws of nature, and the fossil
record. You will see that the evidence fits the creation theory,
not evolution.
Here is one example:
The second law of thermodynamics says that everything in the universe
is moving from a state of order towards disorder. From the complex
to the simple. It’s also called the law of entropy increase,
i.e. towards greater disorder. In other words, everything is running “downhill” not “uphill”; everything is wearing
out.
Evolution contradicts the Second Law. If evolution is true, then
we should see systems going from states of disorder to order, from
simple to complex.
If creation is true, it would predict the “running down”
of the universe and it’s systems.
Even evolutionists admit this:
“As far as we know, all changes are in the direction of increasing
entropy, of increasing disorder, of increasing randomness, of running
down.” – Isaac Asimov, “Can Decreasing Entropy
Exist in the Universe?” Science Digest, (May 1973), p. 76
So why do evolutionists believe in a theory that goes against the
basic laws of science? Because they choose to and because the only
alternative would require them to acknowledge a Creator.
Let’s look at what the Bible has to say about the second
law:
“For, all men are like grass, and all their glory is like
the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord stands forever. “ - 1Peter 1:24-25a
“(The heavens) will perish, but you remain; they will all
wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and
they will be discarded.” - Psalm 102:26
